Why this exists
Most IT-cert practice platforms are flashcard apps in a corporate trench-coat. Pages of dense text, "review your wrong answers", maybe a leaderboard nobody uses. Cert Quest takes the opposite approach: treat the learner like someone who already knows how to use a phone, and build the loop that actually keeps people coming back — XP, streaks, and a daily challenge that mixes vendors so you can't just grind one pack to oblivion.
The underlying questions are written against the official exam blueprints, with explanations and links to the source docs. The gamification is the wrapper, not the substance.
Vendors covered
AWS
Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02), Solutions Architect Associate (SAA-C03). Full audio companions on Spotify.
Microsoft Azure
AZ-900 fundamentals in progress. AZ-104 next.
Kubernetes
KCNA (Kubernetes & Cloud Native Associate). Terminology-heavy — the daily-challenge format works really well here.
HashiCorp Terraform
Terraform Associate. Audio companion podcast covers the same syllabus.
GitLab Git
GitLab Certified Git Associate. Workflow-heavy questions.
More incoming
Roadmap: GCP Associate Cloud Engineer, HashiCorp Vault, AWS Developer Associate.
The gamification layer
XP per question
Right answers grant XP weighted by difficulty. Wrong answers don't punish — they queue the question for spaced repetition.
Daily streak
Hit your daily question goal to keep the streak. Miss a day, the streak resets — which is exactly what makes it work.
Daily challenge
A 5-question mix from across the vendors you've enrolled in. Forces context-switching and tests breadth, not just one pack's depth.
Progress tracking
Per-domain mastery percentage so you know what to study before sitting the actual exam.

Frequently asked
Is it really free?
Yes. The web app at certquests.com is free, and the Android app launches free. No paywalls between you and the question banks.
Where do the questions come from?
Original questions written against the official exam blueprints for each vendor. Every question includes an explanation and a doc reference, so when you get one wrong you actually learn the underlying concept rather than just the answer pattern.
How is the Android app different from the web app?
Same content, different ergonomics. The Android app is offline-first (study on the metro), supports background notifications for the daily streak, and the UI is tuned for short 5-minute sessions on a phone screen.
Is there an audio version?
Yes — the cert prep podcasts on Spotify cover the same syllabus in long-form audio (AWS SAA-C03, Terraform Bootcamp, etc). Use them in the car or while running, then test recall in the app.
